This very finely woven coin polishing cloth will make your coins shine again. The polishing cloth is impregnated to make heavy dirt and tarnishing disappear with easy rubbing. Also suitabale for cleaning jewellery and cutlery. Product is not washable. We do not recommend polishing for “proof” or “proof-like” coin imprints. In order to preserve their condition, these types of coins should remain untouched.
The LED magnifying glasses MONOKEL are perfect for activities which require both hands. Check and recognize details that are not visible to the naked eye, i.e. any deviations from the original, minute details or damage. Comes with 4 interchangeable lenses in different magnifying strengths: 10x, 15x, 20x and 25x. The magnifying glass unit for viewing the object can be moved sideways and folded upwards, meaning that it can be adjusted to fit the face width of the wearer. Features a movable LED lamp fixed to the side of the magnifying unit. For best results, we recommend keeping a distance of approx. 0.5 to 3 cm (3/16 to 1 1/4″) between the viewed object and the lens (depending on the lens attached). Incl. batteries (3x LR1130).
CLEANING BATH FOR SILVER COINS
This cleaning bath removes oxidation from tarnished silver coins. This bath should only be used to clean coins, which are oxidized or tarnished. Cleaning coins, which are just dirty but not tarnished, is not recommended. The bath can be used to clean a
number of coins at once. Make sure that the coins do not touch each other. It is not suitable for coins made of gold or other metals. Place the coins into the basket and lower into the bath. Coins with low levels of oxidation will be clean after 1 minute, whereas more oxidized coins take 3 to 5 minutes. For extreme tarnishing (e.g. on coins which have been buried), coins can be left for up to 10 minutes, however this requires constant supervision and the coins should be removed as soon as the
oxidation has been removed. Hard deposits can be gently removed with a soft brush (toothbrush with natural bristles) and green rust with a sponge; after removal dip briefly in the bath again. After cleaning, take out the basket with the coins and rinse under running water. Then gently pat the coins dry with a soft cloth – do not rub. Remove liquid after use. The bath contains acids, which may attack stainless steel (i.e. sinks) and other acid-sensitive surfaces; please take care when using it.
Caution irritant! Keep away from eyes, skin, and mucous membranes. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with water. Keep away from children.
Contains: phosphoric acid / fattyalcohol polyglycolether, C 10-16, ethoxylated, propoxylated. Contains, according to Regulation (EC) 648/2004: < 5% non-ionic surfactants, CITRONELLOL, scents.
